Tison Middle School Theatre

Tison Theatre Company was launched in 2021.  With the help of supportive parents and administration Tison Students were able to bring Musicals back to Tison after an 11 year absence.  Students performed two sold out performances of "Annie Jr" in 2022 Tison Theatre performed in UIL One Act Play competition.  Performing "The Diviners"  where they placed 2nd overall. In addition we had several students win individual rolls, including, All Star Performer, All Star Honorable Mention Performer, and All Star Technician.  

To build on our our success Tison Theatre Company delighted audiences with "The Little Mermaid Jr". the musical with three sold out shows.  In April they again competed in UIL One Act Play with "Mother Courage and Her Children" placing second again in the competition.  In addition we had several students win individual rolls, including, All Star Performer, All Star Honorable Mention Performer, and All Star Technician.  

Tison Theatre Company is an educational based program where students are not only taught to be in the spotlight but to also run the spotlight.  Students are encouraged to design and create all sets, props, costumes, lighting design, and choreography.  None of this growth would be possible without our supportive school administration, and many amazing community members and businesses partners that support our program.  

This upcoming school year our program has grown so much we will have a total of three performances planned for the 2023/2024 school year.  This year we will be performing "Legally Blonde Jr." the musical on November  10th and 11th at the Weatherford High School Ninth Grade Center.  In addition to two One Act Plays.  Due to our need to move to facilities we are asking for donations to purchase additional microphones, as well as road cases, cables and lumber to build our sets.  If you have any desire to help our students feel free to click the link below and donate to Tison Theatre Company.
